Professional association for tourism in the Cathar Pyrenees
The Pays de Sault is a magic area in the south of the Aude department , adjacent to the departments of the Ariège and the Oriental Pyrenees. A place of rest with a virgin nature where people are attached to their territory and reveal it with pleasure to the visitors. Different professionals choose this out-of-the-way place in the Pyrenees to live and work, and offer their products and activities adapted to a sustainable and qualitative tourist product.
The association of Le Grand Sault, an initiative of a group of people active in the tourist sector and in this region - gites, rooms, restaurants, products suppliers, sports coordinators, mountain guides , monitors horse riding, farmers, lodging- is daily engaged to valorize this region in an harmonious and thoughtful way.
These professionals aim to bring together the actives of the great and small « plateau de Sault« and the valley of the Rebenty to cause an ambitious and sustainable development that the region benefits, together with the residents, the municipalities and the existing structures.

Some members of le grand Sault have the brand Pays Cathare, we want our members obtain this brand. Steps have taken in this sense , members awarded this label already participate in actions of the brand : fairs, bochures, etc...
